Asessippi Parkland EDC is committed to providing the necessary tools to encourage entrepreneurial and business growth.

We actively market and promote our region's important competitive advantages and lifestyle opportunities to encourage immigration and business investment. We offer support programs to assist new residents and businesses to successfully settle and establish themselves, while providing support to existing local enterprises. One such orgainization is the Russell & District Recreation Commission.

Our Mission Statement
Asessippi Parkland Economic Development Corporation (APEDC) was formed through the cooperation of five municipal governments to:
· Investigate and pursue new economic development activities for the region.
· Support existing local enterprise through financial, human, and information resources.
· Promote the region to potential investors, residents and entrepreneurs.
· Work with local government to insure policies provide a positive environment for economic development.

Our Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of appointed council representation from each of the five municipalities, an appointed community member from each municipality and three elected members from the community at large.
