Russell & District Recreation Commission 

The Russell & District Recreation Commission was formed through a partnership of the Town of Russell, RM of Russell, Village of Binscarth and RM of Shellmouth-Boulton.

Mission:
• To provide recreational and leisure programming for area residents
• To assist with the development and maintenance of recreational facilities
• To assess educational needs and work cooperatively to provide opportunities
• To cultimvate an awareness and appreciation for the arts and culture
• To assist non-profit organizations with fund-raising projects
• To provide assistance and direction in Special Event Planning
• To provide assistance in grant research and application completion.
